    He is so cute!!! Love it!

    Maybe it is one of those things that sits on a dresser and holds a mans wallet, watch, change and what ever else is in his pocket.

    My grandparents had something similar they used to hold long fireplace matches on the hearth. I have no idea if that is what it is really for, though.

    Depending on the size, I vote for the match holder idea, or if large enough, I would suggest perhaps a log holder....to set beside the fireplace.

    The nose is in the way for holding business cards, tried it................and its way to small for logs............Its only 6" wide.
