    Yes, I make hand embroidered quilt blocks. Just last week sent a crib quilt to Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch for their annual quilt auction. Have 2 completed crib quilts in my linen closet for the next generation in my family, one redwork and the other bluework. If I ever learn how to get the pictures out of my computer to the board, I will post them. Hand embroidery is not one of my favorite pastimes, but need something to do in the evening when I do not work in my sewing room.

    No I haven't but it would be fun to try. My Mom embroidered quite a bit when she was alive.

    No, but I really want to. Thinking about redwork blocks, havent found what pattern I want, but not sure what "THAT" is.. lol I dont want cartoonish prints, but something elegant. any thoughts???

    I inherited some friendship blocks which were all hand embroidered. I just need to figure out what to put on 4 squares.

    Hi C.B.! Yeppers...I incorporate hand embroidery into many quilt projects. Hand embroidery is my biggest passion when it comes to my hobbies. Here's some of what I've done:
