Do you plant flowers, flower garden, in pots?
#11
Oh yes! I love gardening. My favorite times are the evenings and mornings having coffee or an ice tea overlooking it all. It is just majical to see the fruits of your labors thrive and produce such beauty.
Lisann, did you know there is a new lilac that blooms all season now? It is called Bloomerang. It only gets about four or five feet tall. So your patio would hold one.

Hi CraftyBear,
How about posting some pictures. Your garden sounds beautiful. Have your ever tried Crocus or Tulips. We had them when we lived in CO and it is so much fun to see them pop up through the snow.

Yes, Yes, Yes, I have lots of flower gardens all over our property. I took a walk this afternoon and my easter lillies are about 13 inches tall now. They came from a start of easter lillies from the farm that my grandma had years ago. So cool to see them in my garden now. My grandma died the day after I was born in 1956 but she lived long enough to know that she had a granddaughter. She died from cancer.
I have lots of perennials and also plant annuals. I have some of the old whiskey barrells full of flowers. I can't wait to go to the garden center and buy my flowers this year.

Yes to both. I love gardening. Can't wait for the weather to get a little warmer. We have plans to re landscape our whole front yard this year.
Every year i say I am not planting anymore flowers but then I do.
I bring a lot of plants in the house over winter just to see how long they will keep. I enjoy my gardens.

I love flowers around the yard, but alas, I have a brown thumb! I do try tho, as the budget allows. I do put out tomato and pepper plants each year tho and plan to expand to other veggies.

I will be moving soon to my homestead. Lots of plans for a cutting gardens, huge vegetable gardens, secret garden, and an orchard. I have woods and don't like cleaning out gutters so there will be no trees too close to the house. But lot of flowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables.

Our temps have cooled a little. We will be in the 60's all week and the 40's at night here in Kentucky. My Columbine is getting ready to bloom, some are already blooming. I sure hope these plants know what they are doing, but our recent 80's probably gave them false confidence. Our ground is so dry and hard, we could not plant anything even if the temps would cooperate.

Used to have lots of flower, herb and veggie gardens over the 50 years we've lived here. Over the past several years I've been closing them down as I can't take care of the gardens as well as I should. Couldn't give it up entirely so I have large pots of flowers by the front door and on the backyard deck. May in Jersey

Karen, isn't it nice to have some plants that belonged to family? I have some of my Grandma's forget-me-nots, and several bunches of my uncle's daylilies. He had all sorts of speciman plants, cuz he liked to crosspollenate. I had my Great Grandmothers wooden arbor in the garden until 3 years ago. It was destroyed in a bad storm. I was trying to convince my husband that we could fix it...in hindsite I know he was right, but how I cried....
But this morning I took Tink out for her morning constitutional, and my lilac bush is opening....YIPPEE!
