The length of the thread doesn't determine whether I post as much as my interest in the topic. Truly, I don't think any of us can hear that our quilts are pretty too often. Sometimes I just don't have anything to say; sometimes I do.

Doesn't mean I don't love seeing the beautiful quilts...or trying to help when it's asked for.Maybe I just get on line too late in the day.
same here..and I am on this thing more than I should all day!
but after page 3, I generally do not post!

I also scan the titles well...so many posts have interest to me..and some are just repeats over and over and over....
I also skip the vagues...you know "help", ISO, what if, ...etc...

If someone takes time to post, I feel it's worthy of my thoughts...so I post.

Regardless if the posts are long or short, if I can give an input that has not been given, I reply.

I still post to let the person how I feel about their quilt or item made. :) Everyone does a wonderful job - I wish I had more time to devote to sewing, quilting, etc.

I just post on whatever I feel like posting on. It doesn't matter how many comments it has, even if there are only a few.

It all depends on the thread. If I have a good hint or idea to help fix something I will give my 2 cents no matter how many pages. And if its something that really takes my eye I comment. You can click unwatch at the top if you don't want to receive all the replies you know.

I post even though others have on pictures because I don't believe there is ever too much positive regard when one creates a masterpiece. Unfortunately I don't know enough to answer technical quilting questions. Love to connect on the non-quilting discussions. :)

No not usually. If there is 1 or 2 pages I will try to "talk" on the thread, but really after page 2 no body is "listening", it is just added somewhere in the back, and nobody really takes the time to read that far.
