No....I seem to have a very unsentimental attachment to just about everything.....not sure if that's good or bad. A friend of my husbands offered to make my dress and she did a very nice job. I liked it but my "marriage" was and always has been much more important than material things. I still have my fabulous husband but not my dress. I often think I'd rather be poor with him than rich without him.

I do have my dress still, but I'm not sure why. Can't imagine our daughter using it -- she has her own style and a completely different body shape. Just too difficult to make the decision to let it go, I guess.

Married 38 years this past July!

Yes, and my mother's from 1941, too. Finally got my daughter to take hers and store it at her house a couple of years ago.

We were married in 1968 and I still have my dress and DH. Plan to make a memory quilt out of it .

I have mine, but it was altered for my now soon to be ex daughter-in-law. We had to make it bigger for her. It has been 33 years now for me.

Yes I do-I got it out 6 years ago for my dd to try it on-It was soooo old fashioned!!I have her wedding gown also-it was very elegant. I am wondering what her daughter will think about it in say 20 years.I've been married 40 years.

I do still have mine packed away with the garden hat. I also dreamed that one of my 3 daughters would want to wear it as well. The first daughter told me it looked like a nightgown ( married in the 80's, victorian style dress).LOL The second daughter to marry is much more endowed than myself( letting her off the hook VBG) and she wanted a beaded dress. The only daughter left unmarried is 4 " taller than me and would never want to wear that much lace anyway. So... I am considering making a quilt out of it so I can enjoy looking at it and quit feeling so bad that it hasn't fit in years!
