Do you think this is a Craigs List scam?

It's a scam.
And if your selling something watch for the weirdos who will email you a generic is the item available I'll send you a cashiers check. I sell a lot of craigslist and end up reporting 99% of the replies as scammers. I also never accept anything but cash. I just had someone try to buy all my yarn with a paypal charge and declined the sale unless they would pay cash. It's easier for someone to forge a cashiers check or a money order. A lot of banks will flat out tell you not to accept a cashiers check from a craigslist sale.

Yes, this is a scam. My DH wanted a motorcycle and we found it for sale in about 7 places. Then they reply that they are headed for Iraq and not allowed off base but the item is in storage at a Western Union facility and after we send the money, they will mail the item cheap as a soldier. We found that if it's too cheap, then it's a scam !

It is a scam! Just check with your local RV dealers within a short one day road trip distance! I saw the same ad here in Corpus Christi and where many of my family live in Indiana, Kentucky and Florida.

I'm wondering if this is the same RV I was looking at on craigs list that was reasonably priced. The answer that I received
was that he was working in the the oil fields in the Gulf and that the RV was in Texas. He advised me to sent the money and that he would ship at his expense. I also sent an e-mail for an El Camino and received some ridiculous story. How dumb do these scammers think people are? My opinion is that they go to a place that have these for sale and take a picture and then put them on craigs list thinking that someone will send the money.
