just a thought with the 3mo prescrip. vs. 1 mo. I had one of those too but my insurance will only allow 1 mo at a time. My pharm. sugg. I call ins. if I plan a long trip and they will approve more than one month. Note - I've never tried it yet, but my pharm is generally right on.

Thank you -- no, the insurance company WANTS our prescriptions to be for a year with disbursement to be 3 months at a time. This doctor told them to distribute it 1 month at a time. This not only costs me more for co-pay - paying $10.00 every month instead of $10.00 for 3 month supply, it's a pain to the ins. company, too! Also, I can't be without the inhalent for even one day....so the chances of something happening in the mail could be bad. This last time, i got the prescription the day after my other inhalent was gone!!!!! If we travel for more than 3 months the ins. company happily sends us 6 month supply. Naw, the more I think of it, the more I've decided this doctor or her staff is incompetent. I will be asking to speak to the manager when I go in Thursday. A doctor who gets $250.00 for one visit  should do a better job than that.

(If it's too personal or might make others feel uncomfortable, then please take it to PDA.

Also, if you just want to vent or if you need support of others because of a personal problem, then PDA is a more appropriate place.)From the rules:

    what is PDAs?????
