I use my crock pot as much as I can. My favorite thing to do is buy a bag of frozen meatballs or chicken strips (unbreaded) or whatever, throw it in the crock pot, add a bottle of BBQ sauce or teriyaki sauce or whatever, set on high til it bubbles, turn to low and let it simmer til you think it's done, I just do a taste test, and dinner is served!

If I buy meat that already has a marinade on it, I just add some water to make it juicier.

I do not use mine that often but I would like to start, I am going to check out some of these links to look for new recipes try with it. Nice to have a nice meal for the family without heating up the house too much in the summer...

I use my crock pot all the time, for ribs, roast, chicken, pork chops, pork steak/gravy, etc. Sometimes I don't even brown the meat, as it will become brown as it cooks. I could not get along without it, or without my 6-qt. electric roaster, or my breadmaker. Love them!

I use my portable roasting oven and slow cooker out in the garage during the summer, that's not to say that I cook very often though...........didn't want to give the wrong impression.

I love using the crock pot, we have had a cookout for several weekends with around 16 people, so I have 3 crockpots and made it easy. Great saver if it looks like it is going to rain, I throw BBQ in one in case we can't cook out and gives them an alternative. I would use mine everyday if I did all the cooking. Last week, I made a Slow cooker Salsa Chicken (over rice) my dh thought it was just the best.
