I was wondering if anybody here does their canning on one of the electric portable burners instead of your stove. I was thinking about buying so I could can outside. If you do what brand do you have? Any feedback would be great.
    Thank you,
    Judy

I was hoping the electric ones would be good too just in case I wanted to use it inside.

I use the burner on our bbq grill. I certainly don't want the smell of vinegar when I do our pickles :)

I have used propane and the electric. It is wonderful to put the electric in the 3 season porch to hot bath and keep the moist heat out of the kitchen. I recommend either. We bought a $39.99 one from Walmart or Menards quite a while back.
