My boston Tawny does this too. We have a large water bucket in the backyard so she can swirl around in it. She does not like it if I get her wet though, only if it is on her own. It doesn't matter how small the water bowl is; she will try to lay in it and drink at the same time.

Here she is at the dog park-the one laying in the water.

Peanut our Yellow Lab/Terrier mix sits in the creek in our backyard with his belly in the mud. Linus our Scottie/Black Lab mix thinks that's way too redneck so he climbs up the pool ladder and jumps into the pool for a swim and then climbs up and jumps off the ladder to get out. But when it comes time for their bath they both both run and hide as soon as they hear the word...go figure!!!

Perhaps as a Boston Terrier, he is longing for the Charles River! Looks like he is having fun!

I had a lab that would junp in the horse trough and a horse that stands in there, too.

Spud Muffin, the chiraninan, goes swimming in the pond with me, he likes to float on the inner tube. The other dogs just watch and pant.

We buy a small kiddie pool for our dog every summer. They love it! Dogs get hot too!

Soo cute! I just love Boston's. My husband would not let me get one so we settled o Puggles instead. Neither of them like the kiddie pool we got last year.
