In the 1970s I went with a bunch of ladies, just to get out of the house and the bowling alley provided baby sitting!! We were league champions a couple of years. Still in a woman's club with one of those ladies, it's nice to have women friends. Men are marvelous in their own way, but for long term friendship, women are best. And I can still hear my own advice, part your hair with your thumb on each throw, all the way back to above your ears. When I did that, my bowling was far better. Still have those nice trophies.

BOWL!!Did you say bowl? That is my favorite thing next to sewing of all kinds. I bowl Tuesday nite on a mixed league, Wednesday nite on a Ladies league, and Thursday morning on another ladies league. I have been bowling since 1982, straight thru the year, no breaks. Lets just say....I LOVE BOWLING. Fixing to go right now as it takes me 45 minutes to get to the nearest bowling alley.

Howdy, glad to meet you. Amazed everyone with my bowling last nite. People were asking my age. I even outdid the best bowler and I am the oldest person on that league. Don't mean to sound bostress but it was a good nite, Hope tonite will be, but one never knows how the lanes and your ball will get along. Keep in touch as I love to hear from bowlers. By the way, I live in Texas, where are you?
