Does anyone out there also sew non quilting items?

Oh my gosh. Yes, have been sewing just about anything and everything for 50 years, at least. Two dtrs' wedding dresses and bridesmaid's, mens suits-ugg, anything for the house that can be sewn, lots of kitchen and craft items, women's accessories, including shoe covers, (LOL) seat covers for a car, but never again. It's too hard on a house sewing machine.
Just started into quilting in my 60's. Now am 73, but still love sewing.

I have sewed all my life everything from doll cloths (which I still do)To covering tractor seats(Yuk). The only thing I hate to sew are cloths for real people, (the dolls don't complain).

Ha, sewing for people can be a real 'drag'. I agree with a YUK, also.

I'm into just about every needlecraft. I've made quilts, scarves, 2 challah bread covers, couple of 1860's dresses (reproduction), sunbonnets, etc. I've lost track what all I have made. ::shrugs::

It keeps me off the streets at night. :P
