We've had a Dyson for about five years. It is by far the best vacuum we have ever owned in 34 years of marriage! It is amazing how much stuff gets picked up everyday. I have a black lab that sheds alot, and with previous vacuums I only had to empty the bag about once a month. With the Dyson it has such a stronger suck that I empty it each time I use it. It makes me wonder how much dirt and hair were left in the carpet prior to owning the Dyson. I'm sold on Dyson and will probably never own another brand.

I bought a Dyson Animal machine about 4 years ago because my vac's were burning out at an alarming rate due to the long hair on my dogs. I adore the machine. It never missed any fur and never lost pressure and, when I broke a belt, they replaced it free, not s&h, nothing.

Mine works the same, just a dial that moves from carpet to floor.

I always liked my Oreck but put it beside my dyson and I hate the oreck. I've been using a dyson for about 2 yrs now, Ilove it. Yes have a long haired white cat.

I have heard nothing but rave reviews about the Dyson vacuums. I work at Best Buy (and believe it or not, we do sell vacuums) and frequently the Dyson rep. comes to see us. From everything I've learned about the vacuum (without actually having one) it seems phenomenal. I love that you never have to buy bags or filters - most Dyson vacuums have two washable filters.

One of these days, when I get the money I'm getting one! :P

I have a Dyson and love it I have 3 dogs with long hair. Only
problem I have had is the hair getting wound on the beater bar.
So every now and then I cut the hair off it.

Yep! I have had mine for years and it runs like a charm. One of the best I have ever had.
