Does anyone else crochet their kitchen dishcloths?
That I think is what I will be doing later this morning. I love them. They suds up with the dish water so nicely and you use less of the dish soap..
Daughter has requested some of them. I use left over yarn from making grandkids sweaters.....although most of the last batch I made up and walked off. I think hubby found a use for them that involves outside.

My daughter does them, but she knits them, she finds it is a great way to test a stitch pattern. She always has cotton yarn on hand and when she sees a stitch pattern she wants to try she simply knits it into a dishcloth size square

I have made them in the past -- they are fun to make (I knitted mine) but they are so heavy and tend to hold a lot of water (and "sour" even when they are place on a towel rod). Do you have this problem? If not, could you share where you get your patterns? :D

I've always heard these are the best dish cloths and even have a couple that were given to me. However, as a crocheter/knitter, I somehow can't bring myself to use anything that pretty and that took so much time and effort to scrub pots. But that's just me. :)
