Thanks, Janelle!! I think I'll send a message to my doctor ha ha. He was all over me about it !
Another thing- my husband is a huge snacker so I just make believe there aren't any goodies to be had.
But I'm not really a big snacker so that's not too hard for me. It's those meals that do me in. When my sister moved here she stayed with us for 3 months and gained a bunch eating Paul's lovely meals!!

do do these meals come daily, weekly....are they refrigerated? Left at front door?
My son said they tried them but I thought they were really expensive, I couldn't justify the cost over the convenience

I have been curious about these services and appreciate the information. From one post I see that $80.00 buys four meals for 2 people. I keep track of what I spend for food. I looked at my log book and see that I spend an average of $97.00 a week for food which is 19 or 20 meals. We do not eat out a lot-mostly cost and nutritional reasons. I feel like we do not scrimp. We are not big meat eaters; most of the expenditure is in the produce department; we eat very little canned or frozen food. I use my freezer to great advantage so I save time cooking. I do not mind cooking. I also have a husband who likes to shop for groceries. He either goes alone or goes with me and picks up half of the list. There are trade-offs in life because there is only so much time and in many families only so much money.

We started with Blue Apron then switched to Home Chef and love it, have been ordering meals from them for almost a year. The ingredients are always fresh, the recipes are easy to follow. We like Home Chef because we have so many choices to choose from.
