I'm enjoying this as well and I'm glad to see we quilters have a hold on what is real! All this plastic surgery shows what kind of a 'ME' age we live in. I don't apologise for all my wrinkles and all my gray hair, I earned every one of them and it's a sorry soul who can't accept the aging process and move on. It's much more attractive to be beautiful inside and gracious outside and that is more attractively impressive to others than seeing an old coot (male or female) pretending they are what they are not anymore. They are so boring with their Me, Me, Me mindset, primping and posing.

When they paint on lips also and what about those eyebrows that people just draw a line somewhere above their eye on their forehead. I havent done any of that and I am still not good looking.- J

They look like a picture I saw once in Nat'l Geo Magazine, where the natives put wooden disks in their lips. I guess beauty is definately in the eye of the beholden. My eyes do not see beauty here............

Too bad people can't seem to be happy with what God has blessed them with.

A couple of weeks ago Anderson Cooper had his mother (Gloria Vanderbilt) on his new day time show. This is a woman in her 80's who had her hair dyed red, so much plastic surgery that she could barely move her lips & was trying to look like she was younger than 40! With his silver hair in some ways he looked the same age or older than she did. Very unnatural! Priscella Pressley is another one who has had so many botox injections in her lips that she can barely move her mouth. Makes me wonder if they are all on a liquid diet cuz I don't know how they open their mouths enough to put food in. I totally agree with the trend to just "let it all hang out." I hate it on tv and I hate it in real life. Very unattractive.
