I wore two different color socks to church. One blue - one black. Nobody said a thing. Guess they thought I am either losing it or it's a color choice!

I would have replaced the top button with an accent button and moved the top button where it was needed. I hate sewing on buttons.

I would NEVER notice thread color on buttons that were sewn on, if it were someone else's coat .On mine, dark blue vs. black would be hard to distinguish. Glad to hear about the sharpie suggestion. I'll have to remember that!

I've used black permanent markers on shoes, T-shirts, caps, etc. Hey, it worked! haha I'll probably use it on button threads now! Thanks for the suggestion.

I really doubt anyone would notice especially when all of them are the same. I know I wouldn't notice. The sharpie will work though, if it bothers you, like Tartan said. I have done that in the past when a light color thread drifted over onto a dark fabric or dark thread onto light fabric. I usually just use the right color sharpie & it is all better!

It's been a few years since I've been on a galloping horse, but I bet not many people would notice such a detail. If it bothers you, you might as well change it but I am betting it would never be noticed.
