I lost a button on my black winter coat. Since it was a unique button, I decided to replace all 10 buttons. Grabbed needle and thread, and while watching the football game last night did them all. Today (in better light) I realize I used dark blue slate thread!! I can tell the difference...but would you....on a galloping horse....?

Stand in front of a mirror in good lighting and see fof yourself.

I probably would not notice one way or another - unless you had buttoned them " wrong."

I know I wouldn't notice that. One of my co-workers came to work one day wearing two entirely different black shoes & I never noticed it until she pointed it out to me.

Dark blue and black are difficult colors for me ! I think 'Design Choice' would be right !

Well, my well-educated daughter once said to me "you do realize that your black pants and your black shirt don't match" - evidently one was a "brighter black" - to which I replied - "SO?????"

​If it bothers you, you can use a sharpie to colour the thread on the buttons.

Well of course. Besides, horses are color blind. Kidding, i don't really know if they are or not.
