Oh how I wish.... he doesn't help with quilting but he has moved a big recliner into my sewing area that he enjoys sitting in.

I will occasionally ask him to help me with a name. Something simple like that. Since I don't work outside the home,he pays for everything. I really don't want him to start quilting-he would probably be better than means I would have to find a new hobby! LOL on the other hand, he likes gadgets so maybe something new for the sewing room or more space or... Never mind!

He helps me pick out fabric and helps with turning the quilt on my floor frame.

He buys me vintage machines and fixes them for me. He paper pieces scarps onto adding machine paper "making" me more fabric. Helps me plan and design quilting lines. He helps me draw the lines onto the fabric sometimes. Buys me lots of stuff from books, fabric, sewing machines and a dream ironing board. Best of all he is totally supportive of my quilting.

Mine pays for everything I want, loves my work, and cooks and does dishes so I have more time. He also never complains about my stuff being all over the house. I do keep it out of his office, tho.

He sure does.....building a quilt and building a house are pretty similar in measuring, cutting, fitting techniques.....my medium is just more flexible than his.

My DH made a quilt before I did. He helps me in all the steps along the way, but mostly I love it when he cuts for me. I do not cut straight and he does.

I've gotten my DH to mark center lines, finger press seams open, and help with color choices. He grumbles every time but honestly I do it because he thinks everything is so easy. When I finish a quilt he's always saying WE could make these to sell.
