We do the same thing. I'm in Colorado and DH does a lot of grilling throughout the year. I have to say that his specialty in the cooking arena, though, is lasagna. It's a two-day process for him and it's requested by our grown kids for special family days. Overall, he's an excellent cook -- but I still do most of it.

Unfortunately, not unless I'm out of town.

My husband is an awesome cook and since I don't even like to cook it's perfect! Of course my waistline would look a whole lot better if we switched :D

Pat was born without the grill gene. I thought all men had that gene - alas, not my darling. He tries though. If times ever get tough he could probably get a job at a crematorium. The first time we had "real" BBQed chicken at a friend's house, I thought it wasn't done. No black chunks of skin broke off and there was moisture in my piece. lol

My DH does some cooking. He does all the grill work, and when we have Stir Fry Veggies (which is alot) he chops the veggies and cooks them up. Oh, and he likes to make Pan Fried Oysters. He makes his own breakfast and our Latte's in the morning and after dinner gets his own lunch ready to take to work the next day. And, he usually helps clean up the kitchen after dinner. All in all he's pretty terrific.

I don't think you could call it cooking! His grilling isn't bad and his macaronni salad is decent. He won't die of hunger, but hes better off if my son (18) does the cooking. I'm not at home at supper time, so my son has learned to cook. Neither clean unfortunately!

Mine dials a mean phone and never complains about eating out, so that's good enough for me! I'm not a great cook either, so I don't complain that he doesn't. It's worked for us for 40 years. Why change things up now?

Sometimes he will cook. I like his cooking better than mine. However unless he grills outside, the stuff he cooks inside is full of fat & calories. But oh so yummy!

Almost every night, cleans up too, and does the laundry and grocery shopping. Yes, really.
