I've always loved Dollys music, Kenny Rogers too, but I just got home! Would like to have seen it!

Before all Kenny's surgery, he and my hubby looked so much alike. People used to ask him if he was Kenny and he would tell them he wasn't, he was his brother. Now they look nothing alike.

I think the celebs that have the minor stuff done once look better older then they did young. I can see having a tummy tuck or chin lift if your living depended on your looks. But radical cosmetic changes make any celebrity look like a joke. Betty White is gorgeous! Joan Rivers is hideous!

It's sad that in a quest for eternal youth people end up being made hideous looking. Kenny, Dolly, Cher, Meg Ryan, Burt Reynolds, Joan Rivers and that creature that's married to Antonio Banderas to name a few. You're right, Betty White is gorgeous as are other women that are allowing themselves to age a little. Of course they might look at me and think, "Poor thing, there's no amount of surgery that could make that look good." And they'd be right but I've sort of grown accustom to me over the years and years and years........ One of my cousins lives in Huntington Beach, looks like an older Cameron Diaz and for some strange reason keeps having things done. A couple of years ago she showed up at a family reunion after just having collegen or butt fat injected into her upper lip. She had this imobile, swollen "grin" that made her look like the Joker. It eased up after a few days but YIPS!!! did she ever look bad for awhile.

My face is - okay enough.

It's the sagging and drooping other parts of me that I find distressing.

I don't sag, I don't droop, I have "settled" and keep settling a little more with each passing year.

As a post-menopausal woman, I would like to thank God for giving me a 'belly' I never had before. I think He gave it to me to hold up the boobs as they drift ever closer to the floor.
