    I sprayed my pole and the feeder with a cooking spray and that helped.I still have 2 coming also.

    I enjoyed seeing your hummingbirds. Thank you for posting.
    Mine left about mid Sept. Sure do miss them. This was the first year that I had so many.

    Mine lasted late this year (Michigan). Gone for 2 weeks now....so sad.

    I LOVE hummingbirds! I live in Seattle and have 1-2 in my yard during the summer. Next summer I'm going to put out the feeder that I bought years ago so that I can attract them. I saw the most magnificently colored ones I've ever seen when I was traveling in Turkey--bright irridescent green & purple and TEENY TINY! They almost looked like insects rather than hummingbirds.

    Thanks for sharing your lovely hummingbirds with us. They are amazing. I can sit on the porch and tehy will fly and "buzz" right up and hover around me, no fear. It's God's work, I tell you. ROFl. HUGS
