btw I love shows that even have no learning opportunities in them. In fact, the majority of shows I watch are not educational in the least. Just entertaining (to me).

Rewatched the new episode today. Pay attention Edith's new clothes when you watch. Beautiful!

I've never seen it and I know I'm missing out! It sounds like it's right up my alley!

I can't wait, either!! Now I have to decide if I can wait for January or if I'll try to stream it. So much more exciting watching it when it airs on t.v. but I'll have to be careful of spoilers.

I just saw it should come on here in October. It's started in the UK already.

Really interesting to read all your positive comments - I won't spoil it by saying anything - but it will be well worth the wait !!! WONDERFUL !!!! The costumes are just so beautiful -
I remember my Darling Grandmother - who was a maid in her younger day - she told me some wonderful stories and she would have been in her late teens - early twenties in the 1920's.
I miss her so much !

I must warn you Lyncat once 'most' people rent the DVD's to 'catch-up' on the series they cannot stop watching all the available episodes then, cannot wait to see what the writer's have in the new season! Acting, costuming, story line is absolutely wonderful. Many compare it to the PBS series "Upstairs Downstairs".

I suggest a catch-up marathon right before the season starts here;-)
