Hi, I made a long sock with the sand, and pushed in loads and loads of polyester filling, I think it was an old pillow, but it is stuffed tight because they always seem to go slouchy after a while! Thanks for asking.

Hi, yes they are and are in danger of dying out because we all have wooden or brick fences around our houses and they can't travel about. We are supposed to cut small holes in our fences to make it better for them. I keep handing my DH the saw but he just can't bear to cut his beloved fence!!
