It's actually highly flammable, which is why it's so go in firestarters. I suggest never using it for anything that would be harmful to a person or animal if it caught on fire...like a pillow or a dog bed. I have used some small amounts in art quilts. When I wash flannel or new sweatshirts, or anything very lint-y, I wash them by color then save the lint that shows good color. then I can stitch it into an art quilt for color and texture.

i compost mine and stuff it in tp cardboard insert roll for the woodstove as a fire starter.

there was a woman on carol duvall and maybe w/ Alex Anderson too, who used dryer lint to stuff doll she made.
