I just wish they would do one or the other. I hate having to
change all the clocks.

Never liked the change. So I moved to AZ. The time stays the same (DST), ALL year long!

Don't care for DST if you want more day lit get up earler! Any one remember when business used to open an hour early and close at the same time in the spring. when late fall roled around every one went back to winter hrs. what was wrong with that?

It's bad for families with little ones who don't understand why their schedules are all messed up. My son and DIL had to wake their baby to take him to day care. He didn't want his breakfast an hour early, either. Then bedtime also seems all wrong. In the long run, it's probably a good thing for families to have that extra hour of daylight for outdoor activities on summer evenings, and it saves a lot of electricity because outdoor places that are floodlit, such as little league diamonds, have an extra hour every night before those lights go on. It makes no difference to me after I get past the first day or two each time.

My youngest son was born on Easter 18th, and I can't remember if his birthday has ever fell on that date again.

I do too! I would like it if we had daylight time all year round...more light in the evenings!
Help! dodging the scraps y'all are throwing at me!
