NO NO NO Go back to the original Forsythe Saga...a bit slow but oh so much more detailed and moving. I hated the update. Ever see the original "Upstairs Downstairs"? Downton to the max. Vintage is so much better than the updates. If you enjoyed Mr S try "The Paradise" same premise but livelier, more real romance.
    Love all the British dramas.

I have not see it but will put it on my list. I discovered "Larkrise to Candleford" last year and it is a hidden gem. How does BBC keep doing such good work and we "Yanks" .... not so much.

I found that, too, and I've enjoyed it. I like the way Netflix suggests shows for you, so I've enjoyed Hotel Babylon, and The Grand.

I loved Duchess on VHS! Here's a link to all the Masterpiece Mystery Productions:

I have enjoyed many of them including Poldark and, a sleeper, Reckless!

DH was watching MI-5, but there was too much torture in it for me. I had to stop watching Scandal, too, although I was trying to ignore the torture, I finally found I really didn't care what happened to the characters, so not worth my time.

Thanks for all the suggestions, as I'm running out of things to watch in the evenings while I'm stitching.
