What a heart-warming story that had a happy ending.
Bouvel, if two have hatched and only one egg left I would suggest you let it be as it is . It won't be long and they will "fledge", so to speak and be out of your way.

I saw this a long time ago but still enjoy watching! The kindness of man!! This so refreshing! You know, we are caretakers of these creatures but some people can be sooooo cruel. Being such an animal lover, I sometimes can't even watch, on Animal Planet, shows that feature ASPA rescues & investigations.....

Wonderful! Some ducks nest in hollow trees, then the ducklings have to jump down to the ground or hopefully directly into water. I had some every year in a big hollow tree hanging over my pond, but could never get a picture. The tree finally keeled over.

I have 16 grands(including 4great grands and 2 grand inlaws) in all with the youngest great grand being 4 mos
Our youngest are 4 mos 17 mos 2 1/2 3 1/2 on up to almost 24
