Eagle Scout- Court of Honor

That is such a wonderful story. You have every reason to be proud of him. He sounds like a great young man. It gives me hope for the future when I hear of these accomplishments. Congratulations to you and your son. Without you he probably would not have been able to do so well.

Congratulations to you and your son! I am also the mother of an Eagle as well as a Life Scout. It is really a family achievement. Without your support and the support of others, he would not have been able to accomplish so much. Still, the young man must see it through to the end with so many distractions today that is not easy. Best wishes to you all!

Thank you. You brought back alot of memories for me. My son also was and Eagle Scout - the first in his troup. He is now an attorney. I don't think I will ever forget all of the things that scouting did for my son. He had the honor of attending national jamboree in Washington and met so many people that he would never have met. Such wonderful memories.

CONGRATULATIONS CATHY - & hats off to an obviously wonderful, caring, supportive mom - that is a wonderful honor for both of you. It wasn't just all the hours he put into the Scouts, but it took that someone 'behind' him also giving many hours of time to support him. They should also give out medals to the parents when a boy achieves this honor!!!

We are strong supporters of Boy Scouts. My husband is retired and works two days a week working at scout camp. He has been in charge of OA, Eagle Board, Commissioners, you name it he has been in charge of it. Our Boys started boy scouts at age eight and they are in their forties and we are still real involved in Scouts. Congrats to your Son and to all of your family. Have a wonderful day. Enjoy.
