The outer bands of the storm are just now reaching Maine. It's down graded to just a tropical storm at this point but the rain bands have been heavy and we're barely into the storm. This part of Maine has been very dry to rain is appreciated, just not too much.

OMG I'm back online and we survived IRENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was so freaking scary!!!!! My next door neighbor and the neighbor across the street from me both had trees come down, I was so glad we didn't this time around!

I couldn't catch up on quilting projects, a big tree fell over wires and whole block was out for 24 hours, lights are on now. yeaaa, neat experience to crochet in candle light, how did our ancestors do it!!!
