Easter Surprise
#11
Our baby chicks (36) arrived on a Sunday a few weeks ago. We saw it as such a blessing.
Our grandkids were visiting but due to travel home the day I was sure the chicks would arrive. I received the text early on Sunday morning that they had shipped and that afternoon a call from the post office that we could come to pick them up. Since it was the day before the grandkids had to go home they were able to go with us to pick them up. They had such a treat playing (carefully) with the chicks the rest of Sunday and Monday morning before they left. Grandma's prayer had been answered.

When we had chickens Murray McMurray was the only company we would order from. The chics always arrived safely and I loved walking into the post office to the tune of baby chicks cheerping. I'm surprised the P.O called on a Sunday. Sure beats the noise in the facility I guess:-)
