Another Class Act gone. She did a lot of good for a lot of people with her charity work.

My cousin was a Chef and worked in Calif. for years. He knew her. When he passed several years ago his sister found her phone number in his wallet.Along with Marlo Thomas and others.He said she was a sweet lady.Weve heard many stories about his encounters with the famous and even Presidents.She will be missed loved her in Cleopatra.

My most favorite movie of all time is GIANT. She starred with Rock Hudson and James Dean. The movie wasn't completed when Dean died and there was all kinds of cutting and dubbing to complete his part as Jett Rink. If you want to see a great movie, go rent GIANT.

So sad....I just looked her up the other day to show my DS a picture of her eyes.....he had never seen her when she was young. She was simply breathtaking.

I saw that too. She died of congestive heart failure at age 79. She will be missed.

Just think...she will be reunited with Richard, her great love. How many times did they get married? I think it was three. They couldn't get along together, but couldn't get along without each other either. I just know they will be re-united now.

Yes, she was in National Velvet...I believe that it was her first major role...she was so special and will be missed by many
