I loved her in "Giant" with Rock Hudson. I was listening to the news and they asked some young people ( 20's and 30's ) how they felt about Elizabeth Taylor's death and most of them either didn't know her or didn't care. Just a shrug of the shoulders.

Yes she will be missed. She was one of a kind. Didn't she have the most beautiful eyes? She was stunning in Cleopatra.

That lady had a heart of solid gold!! Her beauty was amazing, her acting fantastic but I thought her strength in that kind of world she lived in and and charity were her best assets.

My ex and I went to the premier of Cleopatra in London when we lived in UK. We walked out of it after awhile. FOund it too long and boring, for us. Liked NAtional Velveet, tho.

Same here, loved her, hated the movie, of course Paul Neuman was no slouch either! She was one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.

Her eyes were the most beautiful violet--very unusual--and that was only part of her beauty!

Love the fact that she dictated that she "arrive 15 minutes late" to her own funeral! Fashionably late she said.
I wonder if she was Jewish...I was a bit surprised that the funeral was so soon, and know that those of the Jewish faith bury the departed within 24 hours if possible.

Just wondering.
