It has gotten so bad that I will not give out any info I started it even the drive through in the bank wanted me to give my address and SS# over the intercom.I told them to give me back my transaction and I would go inside and take care of it that changed their mind.

When I was going to do a bank transaction that I knew they would want my SS# (cashing in savings bonds etc.) I would write it on a post-it note and stick it to the item requiring it, she would always hand the paper back to me to dispose of. She always thanked me for doing that. You can't be too careful anymore.

ANY legitimate company that is calling you will have their info on caller ID. It's WORTH it to pay the extra $$ 9sometimes only a dollar or free) to have caller ID. When you get a call from someone that you don't recognize, just go to Google and put the phone # in....you'll be shocked at what you find! If a company doesn't have their company name on caller ID, I don't answer the phone.
