Lots of peeple who arn't gud at spelin an granmr wood miss the typos.

For the record, I missed a lot of them and I am pretty good at spelling and grammer! Our brains often skip over errors like that as long as we can understand the message.

This scam is of particular note because if you were to take the time to look up the 'financial instruments' mentioned in the email, they might be real. The best 'cons' always have a bit of checkable truth in them. That's what makes them work.

Also, for the record, I didn't check any of the financial instruments mentioned in the email.

I'm the opposite of you with regard to online banking. Switched all my bills to online payments after my entire mail box was stolen. It had no mail in it, but was a 'better' mail box, white cast iron, and probably was sold for next to nothing at the local flea market.

We replaced the mailbox with the cheapest one we could find.
