    Default Embroidered button collection display

Years ago, I bought a bunch of pewter buttons at a liquidation sale of a boutique. I have been wanting to display them, but could not decide how. I am now teaching myself to digitize, so I made a button card applique. Because the buttons have a shank and are heavy, if I just sewed them to fabric, they would droop, so I digitized small buttonholes to put them through, and then on the back I just put a piece of pipe cleaner through the shank. I then did an envelope style back in case I ever need to remove a button.

I really think you displayed them to the maximum viewing with your button cards! How cute and what a great idea.
