Ever "lose" Something in Your Sewing Room?

I have one of those large pad size of tracing paper, now how does something that big get lost in my studio, lol. When I find, while looking for something else, it's going where I can see it, & know where to find it next time, lol!

i know charlie the dog did it, he is the only one here, and he took it, it was a (probably) overpriced, tape that i thought i needed to flat felt some silk, it said that it would disolve in water, well it must have disolved in charlie, unfortunately none of the packaging has shown up either, no, charlie is innocent, i put it where i could find it, and i have looked over two hours and i could just pin the darn stuff, but i am fixated on finding it, i would be done with the project now, no not me...........keep looking, but i can usually keep up with my glasses that way i can keep looking, lol

Just the other day I spent far too much time looking for a small pieced HST. I knew I made it as I had made two at a time. Searching, searching, searching. Ready to make another even though I KNEW I didn't need to. Where did I find it? Right in front of the computer - left on the QB page!

I recenlty reorganize my sewing room and found I bought 4 copies of this one pattern because I wanted it and thought I had it but wasn't sure-during the "patterns are .99" sales at JoAnns.
I used to make dolls and stuffed animals and would buy an extra copy of the pattern when they were $1 because it was so annoying when I'd lose an important piece of the pattern. So now I buy 2 copies at a time when they are on sale.
Great until I realize that I've bought that pattern 2 times-4 sets of the pattern is a little too much.
Then what about when you find something you don't remember buying?

Wait now!!! let's not do something we'll regret later!... I've been looking for things in my sewing room off and on since 1997, but to go and say ' some stuff has to go'...! I hope you're talking about stuff that belongs to your family. That has to be why you have things in every nook & cranny. they have to give you more room!

I have THREE and sometimes have trouble because one has tweezers on the other end and is nice, another is best for teeny piecing stitches...
