A couple of months ago, I cut the binding for a quilt I was working on, coiled it up, and put it . . . somewhere. The quilt is done, just waiting for its binding and I hate to cut a whole new binding (king-sized quilt of course) but I may have to. I had the floor re-done and painted so we moved everything out and put it back after I cut the binding so there's really no telling where it is. I suspect I'll find it about three days after I finish binding the quilt with something else.

Don't feel lonely. You have a lot of company and the company comes in all ages.

I do this type of thing all the time but not only in my quilting room. I feel if I had the time I lost looking for things I've have many more quilts finished.

I have a couple of patterns missing that I planned to do for Christmas. When it is too late to do them they will show up. The gremlin must be back hiding patterns now, wish he would stop visiting unless he is going show me where they are hidden. I finally stopped loosing purchased Christmas gifts by making a spread sheet and putting down where I put them, who they are for and how much they cost. I do the same thing for ideas for gifts but adding a column as to where I saw the idea or where the pattern/instructions are located.

I finally put a piece of yarn on my scissors so I can wear them around my neck, otherwise I lose them every 30 seconds.

I "resemble" every remark on this page. I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached!

I ALWAYS loose things in my sewing room. I had an order recently for a Pursnickety handbag, and still cannot find the magnetic closure. Had to go to JOAnns to get another. Fortunately they were on sale and I got 8 for what I would have paid for 2 at our LQS

I "lost" the backing to a quilt i was making! Totally forgot that I had pieced it and put together a totally new back! Its' all quilted and NOW I found the originally backing. Guess I'm going to have to make a quilt to fit it! :)

As for finding lost things in my studio, they seem to magically appear when I have given up & am looking for something else! Happens all the time!
