There was an old recliner by this tree which was her bed. Rain, sleet or snow that little dog was standing or sitting near the tree. After I could no longer stand it, I stopped to see the little dog with the big head, she was sooooo glad to see someone. Her eyes were matted shut and a hunk of skin was missing from her nose. I noticed she was a female and that explained the other dogs hanging around her. I was so disturbed by this I even thought about taking her right then. I had to think about my approach to her owner and try to catch that person who was never at home.

final post for sugar;
I spend$45.00 for a bird, food, cage, Book on the care of parakeets!!! etc. I make a cover for the birds cage for the night and deliver the bird on the Saturday of her birthday. The little girl was happy with the bird, so was her mother. When I left I put sugar in the car and we came home for a bath, two eye surgeries later she can see just fine. I saw the little girl and her mother not too long after I got sugar and i stopped to ask how the bird was working out. The little girl ask if I renamed Sugar Bear, and I told her no, she was content, however she did flag me down a few weeks later to tell me I gave her a bird that cuses...Imagine that.

They have sinced moved and another family has moved in. I would love to see a fine imposed and levyed against pet owners that don't provide the basics for their animals. Shelter, Food, Medical care & last but not least love.
