For those who do decide to use pay television alternatives as streaming discussed here, some caution should be exercised. Locast-a alleged non profit donation style streaming service platform that streams OTA channels online in selected areas-is now under fire legally for some legal issues that they stirred up. The big 4 major broadcasters (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX) filed a lawsuit against them this morning. In some ways, the legality of streaming content via the Internet is still being ironed out. A bit of caution (i.e. using and especially money exchanging/donating to this or any other platform not backed up/permitted to transmit by a known broadcasting or entertainment corporation) is called for no matter who wins or loses this lawsuit.

Although, to be fair, the real losers are the ones like myself and many of you, don't have really good access to the free Over The Air digital channels that existed in some form for over 70 years now. That's why pay TV was born in the first place!
