    I just did a very quick mock-up and it would really be a stunning wall hanging. I will take the time to finish it and size and make into a pattern we can use. Sorry it is so light I did it in wireframe.

    @Billy-
    That's a great image!

    Quiz of the day -
    How many crop (isosceles) triangles are in the image in Renee's op?

    There are 5 across in 2 opposing lines with one top and bottom. All triangles are made up of three smaller triangle two of which are same size. Line 1 = 1 3 pc triangle,line 2 & 3 5 3 pc triangles. line 4 1 3 pc triangle. This may show it up better.

    the side lines joining the points are not showing up on this.

    Um, you got a total?

    And I'll qualify the question further by limiting it only to isosceles triangles.

    The details in the real crop circles are outstanding. DD and a group of friends tried to make a good size one in a wheat field in OK one time for a college project. They planned for months and had everything co ordinated. They made a nice round circle, that's all and it took all night just for that. Seems to me to get the details so perfect in such a big circle would take one giant mega stencil laid perfectly on top of the wheat.
