I think its great if they are donating or something, but one lady had years woth of pasta, and was still buying more. Will that stuff be still fresh when she eats it, lol!
I love to coupon, but can hardly find the good coupons. Do save alot on soap, toothpaste, ect/

I laugh at these people, who has time to spend all those hours to clip sort and make lists run from store to store and shop. How much of each item does one person need? Most of the items I see these people getting is processed foods. Who needs carts full of candy bars, soda, and junk. I honestly feel some of people have a sickness about it, pretty soon we will have shows on TV about people who are addicted to coupons and hoard food, cleaning products and junk .

I went yesterday to Walgreens, spent $70 saved $108. Came home with Laundry soap, body wash, deoderent, toliet paper, all things we will use up in a few months.
No stock piling here.
When I can get free things I will be donating them to our church food pantry.
Walgreens are asking that you don't abuse the couponing, emptying the shelves. Thats not my style.
My daughter got me started a month ago. I have saved around $200 a month.
Just need to get a better selection of coupons.

I use coupons for cleaning and personal items but I seldom find coupons for foods I buy.

Saw the show extreme couponing for the first time last week when I satayed at my daughter's house. I used to cut coupons and refund, but now the coupons are short dated and for stuff we don't eat anymore. Only 2 in house don't need all that stuff. I saw the minister & wife that did it and donated a lot of what they bought to the local church pantry and to others, one guy was sending care pkgs to the troops, but a few of the ladies we stocking their garage, the basement and no wonder you can't find coupoons if they are stealing them from the driveway!!! Why buy more than you will ever need of food items or laundry soap etc just to prove you can? It means that the prices are going up when there is no real demand, just hoarding. And that is what it is. Now, fabric never seems to change in price where I buy, but there again can only use so much in the lifetime, but I have to say, what I have bought has been at rummage, garage, and auction sales. Not much for what I pd. Also send to some people who can use some help. My mom gets all the trims, etc of that stuff as she makes dolls clothes and dresses my one brothers grandkids in KS. She homeschools and has 11.

I use coupons on non perishible items, but never see coupons for meat,produce or dairy products. I have seen Extreme Couponing and think it is "extreme". What do you do with a cart full of Excedrin ? Most things have expiration dates. I guess I just don't get it.

Do you have ralphs in your area?they don't double coupons?,alot of it is whats on sale also.for instance, if toothpaste is on sale of $1.00 and you have a coupon ofr 75 cents our store automatically doubles and the toothpaste would be free except for tax.I watched extreme couponing and someof its ridiculous,who honestley needs 62 bottles of mustard,even if they are free,and her husband didnt even like mustard.Someone here at work thinks they are getting all this stuff for free and either restocking their own small stores or selling it at yard sales etc.

Stores in Florida don't play nice. Publix doesn't allow doubling and my local Walmarts don't either.

i have started the extreme couponing. ive been doing it for almost a month now, and ive saved close to $300. i receive the sunday paper with all the coupons, sometimes i go and buy extra papers when i see that there are coupons that im really needing. i also use a website called "the coupon clippers . com".
make a list of things that you normally buy, from each groc store that you frequent. then go through all the coupons, and do a match up. find out which store has the better deal. if you are on facebook, look up coupon divas! she posts some tutorial videos and answers all kinds of questions about couponing. the coupon divas have really helped me get started. hope this is some helpful info!!!

as for the cart full of meds, a lot of times, they donate items to food banks, churches, schools, disaster victims. one show featured a guy who bought 1100 boxes of cereal...every box was donated to churches and food banks.
i cant wait to get my stockpile built up!!
