Your fabric bags look so festive under your tree! This is a great, green idea. Have made some red or green felt bags in the past, but somehow I have forgotten to use them(wonder how that happens?). To follow your lead, I could use my Christmas fabric next time and use my serger on the inside seams. Thanks for sharing the great idea!

I guess i represent the lazy side. I buy the re useable bags at Joann's and marshal's , etc. i tie them shut with ribbon curls and use colorful tissue to obscure the view. Sometimes i get them back!

That's a great idea! When the kids were little and got some of those large, irregular shaped toys, I used to make fabric bags. They were so much easier to deal with and no wrapping paper ripping! I hate it when you wrap a present only to have one of the corners break through the wrap!! Your tree is so pretty!

Love the idea. Years ago I saw fabric gift bags at a craft show. They had drawstring tops and the gift tag attached was made from wallpaper samples so it was heavier than paper. There were probably 6 or 7 lines on tag so you put recipient on first line. Then they can cross off their name and put new recipient on second line. I actually bought one to have as a sample and never did make any but your post reminds me so hopefully next year I will do it.
