    Have you tried Eddie's way of making them? Gluing fabric to rope and then sewing? Which way did you like best? I usually do it Eddie's way and then saw this tutorial..covering rope as you sew. It wasn't as easy for me. Guess I will stay with gluing first.

    I did the sewing to the rope too. It wasnt easy for me but some of the others turned out beautiful baskets.

    I didn't even see his way. I will have to do a search to see how he does it. This way was easy for me, I had my box of salvages right next to me and just grabbed and wrapped on the rope as I went along.

    He did a tutorial for us awhile back. I think it would save time if I could wrap and sew but really had a problem getting the angle right and keeping it as I sewed.

    he is my helper and he really is a pest when I want to sew because he wants to do everything. I have to let him sew on some scraps before I can even attempt to sew anything.
