Yup me too. Had it for a while and got sick of it and sometimes too much stupid infos that i don't need to know about so cancelled it. I have much more fun on this board with people i share interest with and also making new friends :)

I agree but I have a face book page because my children that are over 18 have one. I had a friend talk me into opening a face book page so I can keep in better contact as to what is going on in the life of my kids and to see who their friends are.

I have a facebook page and look at it every day. I've found friends the UK, Germany and Canada who I can now stay in touch with a few clicks of the keyboard.
I DON"T:
Make any info "public". Only "friends" can see ANYTHING.
Have my phone number listed.
Have my year of birth listed.
Play any games (they can easily be hidden if your friends play the games.)
If used properly it is a big help in staying in contact with long lost friends and family.

I originally started using fb when my son was moving to Korea. I thought it would be a great way to keep in contact with my kids. They don't use it much....but it is fantastic for seeing pictures of family and friends. I get addicted to some of the games so that's not good. I spend much less time on fb since finding this board. Now I am addicted to this!

I look in on it about once a week just to see what friends & family are up to but unless you have a lot of spare time on your hamds it's kind of a waste of time that could be used to do something constructive. So many stupid games, so many inane conversations.
