I've been on Facebook for over a year and no problems. BUT, I don't open ANY of the apps or whatever they're called that ask for me to allow them to access info on my profile. To me, that's just asking for trouble. I also don't play the games. Can't -- I'm too busy quilting!!!!

:thumbup: I also have my privacy settings set to 'Friends Only'. I go in and check my settings about every 10 days. The powers that be at FB have a habit of changing things to suit them, and not so much their users. You can't be toooo careful.

One important setting to check is for your photo albums. If you post pictures of your kids, or grandchildren, or even your home, if it is not set to 'Friends Only' it is possible for others to see your pictures.

Also, consider the time of year when you receive stuff like this.
Right now is spring break in some cities/school districts/colleges. Pranks, hackings, trojans, and other uglies are more prevalent during spring break, holiday breaks, and summer vacation.
