Facebook, Network warnings

I know a lot of you probably like these network groups...but I just had my second reformatting of my whole computer in two years, due to friends on facebook.
If you get emails, looks like it's from your friends, usually in all caps, and no subject line, with only a web site to click on...DON'T....this is how viruses can get into your computer...even with antivirus programs...and mine is updated daily. The only way to block/junk them, is to take your friends email out of your address book.
So I love this group, and I love getting private emails, please just don't include me in your network groups. I have not had a great experience with them!!!!

I almost opened one recently because it was from my son. At the last minute I decided to call him about it and he said definitely do not open it, as others had called him after they opened it. You cannot be too careful anymore.

Odd, your virus program should have not let it open. The program on my computer blocked several that looked liked they came from legit emails. When I clicked to open a warning flag popped up and said Virus Alert. Most virus programs wont't work for emails so you need to check to see if you have an email virus program, not just a computer virus program.

my computer store confirmed that antivirus just can't get them all perfectly...
I even have a friend across the street, who asked me if I had sent her an email without a subject...I definitely didn't and am not on facebook. In one week I had one from facebook, one from linkdne and another network I can't remember...and yes, the store confirmed I had trojans!
So I sent out an email to all my friends to tell them not to invite me to facebook, that's what I have an email for!!!!
