Oh Butterflywing, I hope you feel better today, I caved in and starting using Facebook as a way to keep in touch with all my family and friends in the UK...it seems to be their prefered method, so if I can't beat em I had to join them. Cost is a factor for me, I can sit and chat as long as we want at no expense, and at the moment that is a big issue for most of us :D

I think the attraction as far as my quilting buddies are concerned, I like Facebook as you can get a much more personal insight into each persons lives as well as keeping in touch :D

of course. i didn't think of it as an international tool. you're right. for that purpose, it's a great way to have a multi-person conversation if you can you do that. can you all log in to the same conversation at the same time?

no its not like a chat.....its more like a personal message board i guess. Everyone has their won page and posts things....like ok I'm working on......or time to clean the house....things like that....then anyone who is their friend can reply to that. You can post pictures too. And you can do a 1 to 1 chat. It really is neat and being on it has let me be in touch with family members that normally we wouldn't see or talk to often and find friends I haven't seen in years.
