Facebook vs Quilting Board
#21
I have family in several different states, a brother in washington state, havent seen him in 11 yrs, a sister in Texas, havent seen her in 9 yrs, and brother and sisters in Pa, Mo, and Kansas.. So as you can see Facebook is a god send here I can keep up with my family no matter where they are... BUT the QB is my favorite place to be..LOL

I like them both. Facebook is a good way to stay in touch with the kids, grandkid and of course friends all over the US.
But I've spend more time on this board, learning new stuff and the list of my to-do list is getting longer every time I am on here. lol.

I don't even own a facebook page. I figure all of the people I want to stay in contact with, I do. And the rest I don't think need to know my business. I love this place,..... my husband told me that I am addicted. I told him, no...I just love the wonderful helpful nice people and that keeps me happy :-)
added later....but I do know once my kids are teens I will have to have facebook to keep track of what they aren't telling me :-)

I FB some but like this board much better. My SIL started using FB to tell everyone about our family and now I don't care for it. I do like that friends and classmates from the past can connect again on FB.
I find quilters make the best friends.
