My husband and I thought it would be just us for Christmas so we weren't going to decorate and just have a quiet dinner together, which would have been nice but our ds called and asked if it would be ok if he brought our dgs up tomorrow for us to watch because he had some unexpected work come up and then our ds and ddl (?) would come up Christmas eve. Well, talk about two giddy people. The trees going up the decorations are coming out and the eggnog will be made!
Merry Christmas to All and to All a Good Week :!:

Oh how wonderfful lucky you!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I had a house full I love to cook and bake. However it will be only me and my son. I put up a 2 ft tree and that was all the decorating I did. Who feels like decorating for 2. I hope my daughter will feel well enough to make it here but I don't think so.

woo hoo!:-D
Peachy, please don't think of it as 'just two'.
One of my dear brothers lives with my mom, and she could not get along without him.
She hasn't wanted to do much of anything since '88 when my stepf. died, but my brother is only 45.
We tend to kind of get in the mindset of those around us. I don't want to see him get old before his time.
They camp a lot. If they stayed still, maybe I could go help him do some decorating. We need Christmas. It only rolls around once a year,...even if I think about it all year long, lol. It gives your children happiness to see you happy.
If happy is too much, contentment can be a real nice place to be. hugs, peachy

How wonderful!
I had all my kids and grandkids in last year. This year, none of them can get home.Son is in Afghanistan, so DIL and 2 grandsons are going to Virginia beach to be with her family. Other Daughter is in florida, she was just up for a baby shower, and can't get the time off.
I know how exciting this is for you! Blessings!
